Dry Needling

Dry needling is similar to acupuncture in that they use the same small needles, but rather than following Eastern medicine technique based on energy flow, dry needling is muscle based and used to target tight or injured muscles.

Cupping

Cupping was made popular in the US when Michael Phelps swam with big circle marks on his arms, but it started as an Eastern medicine technique. It involves placing cups with suction along different parts of the body to help ease aches and pains by increasing blood flow to injured areas which promotes healing.

Pregnancy Care

Webster is a safe and effective technique specific for pregnant women. It involves light adjustments to the muscles, ligaments and bones of the pelvis to relieve aches and pains associated with pregnancy. This also helps improve pelvic positioning for the baby and labor.

Adjustments

This is what chiropractors are most known for: adjusting! Adjustments are given to restore motion to joints that are stuck or aren't moving like they should. It is a safe and natural way to relieve pain and stiffness.

Technical terms:

I use diversified, activator and drop techniques.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft Tissue Therapy

This can be done with a variety of techniques including by hand or with tools. By hand it is called manual therapy. With a tool, you may have heard it called Gua Sha, Graston or myofascial release.

Therapeutic Movement

Therapeutic Movement

Every patient I see is given stretches or exercises to do at home that will help with their condition. My goal is to empower my patients with tools they can use at home to help them along their healing.

Taping

TENS & Taping

TENS units (also known as E-stim) places small electrodes on different parts of the body and helps tight muscles to relax, stimulate disengaged ones and release your body's natural pain killers.

Taping is a technique used to help with injuries, support weak areas and can serve as a reminder for things like better posture.
